New Cleopatra 42 delivered to Scotland

The new boat is named Dalwhinnie. The boat is  a 19 GT  Cleopatra type 42, a new version of the popular Cleopatra 38′ Boat. This new boat will be running alongside the existing Cleopatra fisherman 38 which the owner has been running successfully since he took ownership in the spring of 2002.

The main engine of the boat is a Cummins QSM 11 610hp linked to a ZF gearbox. The boat is equipped with 17kW power plant in the form of a Westerbeke generator.
Navigational instrumentation is from Furuno. It is also equipped with hydraulic driven thrusters and autopilot.
The boat is designed specifically for catching  lobster and some types of crab. It is expected that the boat will pull 1000 pots per day. The boat has two fish holds and separate vivier tank , in all three fish holds with an automatic sprinkler system to keep the catch in the best possible condition on board…

Space for 16stk 380lítre tubs train. The luxurious accommodation will accommodate three to four persons in comfort and has a well fitted galley  with cooker, microwave and refrigerator.
